Session outline
SEDA’s Professional Development Framework (SEDA-PDF) provides recognition for higher and further education institutions’ professional development programmes. The university has very recently gained SEDA accreditation which means that colleagues at Â鶹ÖÐÎÄÓ³»´«Ã½ who act as mentors on the Â鶹ÖÐÎÄÓ³»´«Ã½ Mentoring Scheme can now apply for the SEDA Mentoring and Coaching Award. The award recognises their mentoring practice, and upon achieving a SEDA Mentoring and Coaching Award colleagues can then refer to themselves as a SEDA Recognised Mentor. This online introduction to the award will provide colleagues with an overview of SEDA and its many benefits, and what to expect when applying, as well as providing an opportunity to ask any questions.

Alana MacLeod

Alana is an Advance HE Associate Fellow and holds a BA (Hons) in International Business, as well as an MSc in Sustainable Rural Development, and has worked in the education and training sector since 2012.
