New report highlights student satisfaction at Âé¶¹ÖÐÎÄÓ³»­´«Ã½ colleges

Further education students at Âé¶¹ÖÐÎÄÓ³»­´«Ã½ colleges have given their experience the seal of approval in a national survey. The Student Satisfaction and Engagement Survey 2021-22, published by the Scottish Funding Council, shows that 93.4% of students at colleges around Âé¶¹ÖÐÎÄÓ³»­´«Ã½'s region are satisfied with their experience.

This result indicates that Âé¶¹ÖÐÎÄÓ³»­´«Ã½ student satisfaction is on the rise, with an increase of over six percentage points from last year’s figure (87.2%). It also highlights that students at Âé¶¹ÖÐÎÄÓ³»­´«Ã½ colleges are generally happier with their experience than other college students across Scotland, with Âé¶¹ÖÐÎÄÓ³»­´«Ã½â€™s satisfaction rating over two percentage points higher than the national average (92.70%). 

Students at Orkney College Âé¶¹ÖÐÎÄÓ³»­´«Ã½ rated their experience as the best in Scotland, with an overall satisfaction rating of 100%. Âé¶¹ÖÐÎÄÓ³»­´«Ã½ Inverness, Âé¶¹ÖÐÎÄÓ³»­´«Ã½ Argyll, Perth College Âé¶¹ÖÐÎÄÓ³»­´«Ã½, Âé¶¹ÖÐÎÄÓ³»­´«Ã½ Outer Hebrides, Âé¶¹ÖÐÎÄÓ³»­´«Ã½ Moray, Âé¶¹ÖÐÎÄÓ³»­´«Ã½ West Highland, Âé¶¹ÖÐÎÄÓ³»­´«Ã½ Shetland and Âé¶¹ÖÐÎÄÓ³»­´«Ã½ North Highland are also featured in the report.
